2/20/2012- Juarez Juventus 6 Roswell Aliens 1 This game was close in the first half but the younger quicker Juarez Juventus club opened it up in the 2nd half with 4 goals to run away with the game. They were clearly a much better conditioned team than the Roswell team. The Roswell team showed promise with some skillful play, but will have to be able to play an entire game. Many fans in Roswell were happy to see a game played at this high of a level. The 2nd half saw strong winds gusting across the field in direction of Juarez goal. These winds opened up the scoring. Fernando Jurado Lomeli made it 4-1 Juventus at the 63rd minute; Marcos Perez made it 5-1 in the 75th; and two minutes later Daniel Saldaņa scored the final goal of the day. Roswell Coach Ernesto Rangel was happy with effort and the upside of the league. "My guys played hard." Juarez is off next week due to a five team league there will be one off weekend for all of the teams. Roswell will play in the inaugural game inside of Cohen Stadium on Saturday.
